This tool re-saves your PDF with an optimized internal structure (object streams), which reduces its size somewhat, especially for PDFs with many objects or duplicated data. Note: unlike server-side compressors, it does not re-encode embedded images, so the gain is more modest — for image-heavy PDFs, compressing the images first (with our Image Compressor) before assembling the PDF gives better results. Everything happens in your browser: your file is never uploaded.
